Hello everybody.
As indicated by Dbug, for an easy update of the Erebus it would be to add a microcircuit which would give the exact timing for the access to the Ram overlay, I think that the power supply of the Oric is sufficient, the Eprom would contain a small charger which would read a system file located in the sd card to place it in the Ram overlay, which allows an easy update. Regarding the current product, we can always place Sedoric in the remaining place of the Eprom, if the Dsk file in the sdcard will be modifiable and configurable, the version of Sedoric will be "frozen" because of the impossibility of writing in the 'Eprom. The Sedoric contained in the Dsk file will not be used except for the parameters. For floppy disk games, it is possible but programmers will not be able to work with Sedoric in depth. (version improvement, diskette change in progress ...).
As Simoon noticed, there is a header problem, the Erebus does not load the header and I did not think it would be checked by certain games, I hesitated to include it in my code, I'm starting to regret it ...

Re: The QUILL
Well, nobody get their design right from the first attempt
Generally speaking (that's valid for software and hardware), it's a good idea to make a limited release to have a few people test things left, right and center, give feedback, before releasing world wide fast, the initial testing often discover a bazilion of small things that we don't see ourself because we are deep in the project or simply did not think of, and that's valid for everybody, including Twilighte, Chema, etc... who've done limited beta testing of pretty much all their games, they just did not magically appear as perfect masterpieces out of the box

Re: The QUILL
It'll be only in Spanish, as far as I know. I am just helping with the creation of the tap and wav files, some testing and so on.
They also asked me about the best procedure to create real tapes for physical editions, but I never did such a thing, so besides creating the wav and recording it I could not be more specific
Re: The QUILL
I guess a recent version of Tap2Wav or equivalent would do, probably ask Symoon
Re: The QUILL
Well I guess a simple recording of a 11kHz signal made with TAP2WAV should do the job.
Re: The QUILL
Yeah, that was my answer. I even provided the author with one. Now, about how to make records in resl tapes that can reliably load in an Oric... zero experience
