Any spare French books ?

Here is the place to discuss about the magazines (CEO Mag, OUM, Rhetoric, Theoric, Hebdogiciel, ... are all welcome here) and books.

Any spare French books ?

Post by Steve M »

Some of you must have spare copies of French books. I have just 3, I think.

Oric Atmos votre Micro-ordinateur - Cedric Nathan
Guide de L'Oric - Philippe Bayvejiel
Jeux Sur Oric - Chane-Hune/ Darbois

Any on offer? I have spare English books. New copies of Forth with Manual to swap or can buy.

I've recently been given some more Oric books, so there is even more that I have spare. I have more than one copy of most of the British Oric books. If there are any you want let me know.

I would love to have any spare English books you have - they're very hard to find out here in Austria, and my kids are hacking away on the Oric and need any books we can find. Cost?

Depends which they are. I guess I'll have to put a list together.

I missed this post. Will take a look but I don't think I have that much spare books - if any, I gave away some to the CEO a while ago.

Very envious of you guys with your large and multi-lingual collections! What about giving some of us booklesses a few snippets or gems from these collections, now and then .. like, there must be great stuff in there..

Some are not as good as you might hope - but some books are very useful.

I have a list up above. If you want any of the books listed send my a bundle of notes and you can have some :)

?? I'm not sure of what i've read and if understood correctly the message.

I've some english books but my library can be bigger looking yours. I haven't all these english books and if i could acuquire some i've define 3 priorities :

High priority :
- Exploring Adventures on the Oric
- Oric and Atmos Machine Code
- The Oric-1 and How to Get the Most from It. - Sinclair
- Oric Advanced User Guide - L Whewell - Essential.
- 40 Educational Games for the Oric Atmos
- Getting more from Your Oric - Henry Hicks

Medium :
- The Oric Handbook Lupton & Robinson. (Oric-1 version)
- Understanding Oric - McLean
- The Oric-1 Companion - Bob Maunder - contains V1.0 ROM disassembly

Low :
- Computing with the Oric-1
- Getting Started on your Oric Hartnell & Shaw
- An Introduction to Programming the Oric -1 - Penfold
- Made Easy - Using Your Oric Atmos

I'm sure that i'll not be alone to be interested in your books but my home library will be a nice home for these books, and i'll be happy to scan some and share it (i've scanned one this year and intend to scan more)
