Re: 8bit-Unity version 0.3.5

I guess, technically, since the hub is on the printer port, it can "emulate" anything that is based on the printer port, including possibly using it as a way to send actual "print outs" to a PC or maybe even a USB printer?

Re: Cumana Reborn and OLED display

Could you provide some links or references to the screen you got, and maybe some photos of the modification you did?

Re: SEDORIC extended BASIC commands syntax samples/manual?

Also remember that on real screens, with the real oric, pixels are not square, they are squished (so if you do CIRCLE that you get is not a circle but a flattened ellipse), that being said, I know this game, I played it a lot when I was younger, kept cursing my mum because the kept doing double six ...

There's no problem to launch euphoric on a win10 pc.
You only have to install dosbox-x.

Nice, I did not know this evolution of dosbox, I was still using my 0.74 something something from many years ago!

Re: H3 lib

It seems that alternate charset is able to produce some nice things Actually it can do more: Most people assume (by looking at the memory map) that there are only 64 possible ALT CHAR, but there are 96 of them, it's just that the last 32 ones are overlapping with the top of the TEXT video memory......

Re: H3 lib

This looks really nice, I wonder what the effort to add AIC would be like .. Most probably 100% impossible since it's done using trickery involving ALT CHARSET to create a bitmap window by redefining characters. AIC requires the ability to change the inverted status per scanline, does not work per ...

Re: Hello from UK!

Well, I guess if you have a disk drive (Cumulus, Cumana, Microdisc, Jasmin ,...) you have access to the overlay ram, so dflat should be trivial to use without any rom change by implement some "launcher file" which when loaded from disk does: - Load "dflat.bin" somewhere in low ram - Disable IRQ - Ma...

Re: Cumana Reborn DSK support

I'm not sure, I guess Fabrice Frances would be the one to answer that. Obviously this MFM thing was needed because the original DSK file format was updated which is why there's this "Old2MFM" program, possibly that was because some floppies are using 256 bytes per sector and some are 512 bytes per s...

Re: Cumana Reborn DSK support

The "problem" is that the current loader regenerate the track instead to use the one present in the MFM DSK image. I remember that i had issues trying to use the tracks "as-it-is" + adding the missing clocks at the id and data marks. I am not sure why, so i want to retry this solution because i wan...

Re: Cumana Reborn DSK support

Second test I did to confirm with an image where I know that the original DSK does work in Oricutron, the Space 1999 game (hope Dbug as author does not mind...) I don't mind, but Chema may mind that he is not credited as the actual author of the game (I only wrote the intro sequence) Here is one ex...

Re: Cumana Reborn DSK support

Hello everyone ! Some points : -> The HxC Software currently support Oric DSK MFM_DISK export (read & write !), so both way conversion is possible : Oh, interesting, when was that released? When I checked last year it was not there yet. -> The libhxcfe library can be used to read/write HFE files. T...

Re: New source code repository on OSDN.net

Well, there are two redirects for the svn server, they've been there for a few months already, but I did not have the time to tell you since you started digging before I could answer ;) If you look at https://osdk.org/index.php?page=documentation&subpage=samples you'll notice that all the samples ar...

Now, what if we just switched to the HxC firmware? From what I gather it does support the new Oric DSK format (see here and there and in the PDF manual too.)
Are you sure that this is what the HxC device supports natively, or what the converter tool accepts as input to generate HFE files?
