Yes, the Oric-1 Companion. That's the only book I know that has the V1.0 details.
L'oric à Nu has both, one next to another. Really useful sometimes. But in French :?

Re: Source code repository discussion

Just my 2 cents: I'm not a professionnal programmer anymore, and I've been recently working in a team using Git. It's a real pain for people that don't know how it works. I tried to give a go at learning the commands to read some code, but as I use them once or twice a year, I always forgret. So it ...

Re: CEO Summer Meeting in June

That's cool. Sadly, too early for me, I'm still at work or in transports at that time (or walking, that is), so won't be able to attend.

Maybe you also should specify which timezone you're referring to, as it's going to be international ;)

Re: Oric Database

Every time I see one of our games or demos released, without the manual in PDF, the eventual maps in PNG, and in the case of demos the .NFO file that explains what the demo is and who made it, I feel like calling a SWAT team to collect the offending people and put them in the Arkham Azylum to get t...

Maybe try this one?
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1957&hilit=harrier&start=15#p19580

I can't recall exactly but I think Harrier Attack might have some code playing with loading routines… Quite hazy memory though, I may be wrong.

Re: Complete list of Oric Atmos adreeses

I found that L'Oric à Nu, completed by, as Mike suggested, the Advanced User Guide give together a good idea of what is used and how (although IIRC not 100% complete).

That is for a "naked" Oric (no expansions, no disk drive, … Mike is right - do I have to say that actually :p )

Re: Oric Database

All this has an impact on how to fill the database. Ideally, we should think about the search criterias first (or more generally, what does users want to do), then designing the tables and UI, and THEN letting people how to fill the base with game. And there can be MANY criterias and different user ...

Re: 3D Fongus with Erebus : does not load

There was also the case with Asteroids from Arctic Computing, which worked on some Oric-1, and not others.
Apparently due to some bad PSG programming... And remember how Twilighte's samples worked on some Orics and not others.

Re: Mass storage options for Oric

You should also take a look at Orix with Sittler card and Twilighte cards, on the CEO forum.
The project is quite ambitious and I don't know exactly its state, but you might find it interesting.
Mostly in French though: https://ceo.oric.org/community/

Re: Dungeon Master on the Oric: 24 years later

There's no tabulation key on Oric :p

What about ijkl to move in the labyrinth, and esdf (saves the AZERTY/QWERTY mess for real Oric or emulators) to move a pointer, with space as action key according to the pointer place ? (press, throw, etc, like the mouse button did)?
