Season greetings!
Season greetings!
I'm leaving Sunday for a few days in the family, hopefully the server will behave, if not, just enjoy the winter time until it gets back online

Happy Christmas, everyone.
Re: Season greetings!
Happy holidays to all you friends!
@Dbug: Great picture - the dream of every Oric-fan!
BTW, last night was founded "officially" new label dedicated to our small community: raxiss!
I think there is no need to introduce its members
We promise many new releases next year too!
Actually we have already some to share... oricXmas2019
(Attaching TAP file here too, sources are available in github)
Look for small details, enjoy and have fun!

Merry Christmas to all!
Re: Season greetings!
Nice one
I noticed three animated parts on the picture, are there more?
The full size picture is there: http://defence-force.org/download/oric/ ... opedia.png
Re: Season greetings!
Nice demo!
Slowing down Oric things at this end of year, hoping you all can enjoy holidays or breaks and nice moments.

Re: Season greetings!
Nice rig DBug! I have a similar TV too, although mine doesn't work .. I guess I'm going to (yet again) go off and learn a few things or two from you ..
Re: Season greetings!
@ibisum: Similar, as "Brionvega" or "Retro/vintage red and black" tv? What is the problem with it?
@iss/rax, maybe you could submit your christmas production to the Reddit Christmas Music contest:
I saw that contest when I posted my original photo on the RetroBattleStations (
EDIT: Did not realize that the forum expended these links automatically Oo

Here we go:
Re: Season greetings!
Well done!
Re: Season greetings!
Okay, what are your predictions in 2020 as personal realizations for our Orics? (software, hardware, site, club management, whatever!)
For me, priority:
- understanding what's wrong with the latest Novalight 1.3, so I know if I release a last "classical but 10% faster" 1.3h, or a new "re-written and opened to an additional option" 1.3i
- understanding why the slow speed signal generated by the new (unreleased because of that!) version of TAP2WAV works so randomly
- finishing the new compression method for HRC
- writing a few articles, discovering the new online CEO Mag (didn't have time really so far)
- fixing the cartridge problems so I can start again my Telestrats
- keep transferring tapes to TAP, still have some recordings of problematic tapes from Steve, and tons to do in my collection
- I'd also love to find a way to read old disks apparently not working anymore. They hold a few unknown software, and original files from l'Oric à Nu book. Kryoflux?
- being back on my faster CSAVE routine project (something like 3 times faster)
Additional possibilities:
- maybe managing Sedoric DSK files with HRC (very unlikely)
- I'd like to start working on some port of Mercenary or Damocles, would it be in 2D. But I'm confident in the fact that I'll never have time for this
