Re: And the CEO ?
That was a great meeting last Saturday. At least 12 people were there.
It didn't begin so well as the meeting place was locked and nobody was there to open us.
We lost one hour but thanks to Jede (and Coco.oric's credit card) we were able to quickly rent another meeting room, which was well equiped.
Jede demoed us his new usb/SD card reader (see http://forum.defence-force.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1711).
Kenneth show his SD card reader project (see http://forums.oric.org/t189-rs - in French).
We showed Chema's Balke's 7 work in progress (see http://forum.defence-force.org/viewtopi ... =20&t=1273), running from a Cumulus !
Having forgotten my software at home, I wanted to show the very fast tape routines but was only able to show the video I made on Youtube a few months ago.
And lots of discussons, generous gifts from Marc and Jean (tapes, Atmos keyboard...), and so on.
This is Blake's 7, you can see the Cumulus at the bottom of the picture.

And for the first time, we used a video projector to display oric (real hardware) screen on the wall (instead of showing stuff on emulator).Symoon wrote:That was a great meeting last Saturday. At least 12 people were there.

We used that : https://www.amazon.fr/SCART-HDMI-vers-C ... 660&sr=8-2
We plug scart and we get HDMI output. Sometimes, on PC monitor (hdmi port), the picture "jumps" sometime, but on this video projector it was working well.

Would be nice if somebody could take a video showing how it looks in action
Re: And the CEO ?

Nice
Re: And the CEO ?
Yeah, really nice
Re: And the CEO ?
By the way, what was the thing shown on the screen? I don't recognize it as any released game
Re: And the CEO ?
Blakes 7. Don't you recognise him? (New game as mentioned above).
Re: And the CEO ?
Yeah, take it as an alpha preview, for the CEODbug wrote:By the way, what was the thing shown on the screen? I don't recognize it as any released game
Pretty sure Dbug was jokingSteve M wrote:Blakes 7. Don't you recognise him? (New game as mentioned above).
Gimme time. I said this was going to take long. Not before summer. But believe me it is evolving as expected.
I am trying to make sure I end up with a decent homage to the series, and a decent game too. Still at 21% of a 3.5 floppy, so I can put a lot of puzzles and locations more in the game!
