In this forum you can write about anything that does not fit in other forums.
This includes generic Oric talkings and things that are totaly unrelated but want to share with people here

How far down on the preorder list are we now?
It's because I move them to the 'received' list.
Now, 65c02 has received his, but I had no information from people who were before him, I believe he was just before britelite, which means that the following people must have been contacted and possibly be sent and/or received theirs but did not acknowledge (yet?):
- fandenivoldsk (1 sure)
- StarshipUK (1 sure)
- bloguidice (1 sure)
- JamesD (potentially 1) "Potentially 2 if can be printed in black and white instead of black and red"
- bovik (1 sure)
- billdooruk (1 sure, potentially 2)
It's worked flawlessly with two Oric-1 (no serial numbers, one is grey label and the other is color) and two Atmos (s/n 223278 and 280530).
I've used a Kingston 4GB SDHC class 4 card and a Minwa MW3R15GS power supply, rated 1500mA. I am using a SCART RGB powered cable for all Orics.
The only thing I could find wrong is a tap2dsk image I had created a while back of the Ultima Zone game (a personal obsession). While it works with Oricutron and (converted to HFE) cumana and microdisk driven HxC emulator, it does not work with cumulus (DIR returns a lot of 0.0 named files). I've created another image in oricutron copying the game file there and it works fine with cumulus.
When I get the courage, I'll test the second Cumulus.

Thanks for the feedback.
Interesting point on this Tap2Dsk problem: Does it happen only with this game or have you had the same issue with anything converted with Tap2Dsk?
Well I've tested a few other dsk images made with tap2dsk recently and they all work fine.
I opened the ultima disk image with oric disk manager and it appears empty! So I tried to remake the dsk image from the ultima tap file and tap2dsk chokes. God knows what version I used way back when I originally made that image.
Well I think a malformed disk image from an ancient version of tap2dsk is a non-issue. Especially since I've made the other image and can get my Ultima Zone fix that way!
I would like a cumulus board. Are they still available ? (EDIT: DONE - They are still being built, check the first message for details and (approximative) queue list)
