Connectivity problems...

Post by Dbug »

As it happens, this has been a cold winter... and some pipes have burst.
Unfortunately, my fiber line happens to be very close from the water pipes, and when work happened, they somewhat damaged the internet lines, resulting in interruptions, high ping, loss of service, etc...

I sure hope my isp is going to fix that very fast, because it's starting to be very annoying.

I do have two internet lines (a fast one and a free one that comes with my cable company DVR box) , so technically I could probably have something redundant, but last time I tried it did not work very well, the router was not able to move back to the main line, etc...

Sorry for all that :(

In all really rare cases when defence-force.org was inaccessible I feel how important is it for me.
Thanks for everything you do, Dbug.

So, we've been running with the new router for a couple of weeks now, have any of you experienced any of the timeouts / inability to access the pages recently?
