Label and layout

Post by froggy »

Hello

In order to create covers for 3'' floppy disks, I am looking for any information, like the dimensions of a regular cover (Amsoft style) or, even better, any templates you may have been using (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).

cheers,
Froggy

My 3" label for Blake's 7 was made by hand on Publisher, and is 70x70mm and with a spine of 5mm

For 3.5 disks there are templates available (Avery templates are quite famous) and they can be installed on Publisher directly through the template configuration options.

that's the label for the floppy itself. I am looking for the one for the case, the one printed with the graphic cove that you fold (not glue) into the case.

Ah, ok. Sorry I misunderstood.

Just measured one: height is something such as 104 mm, and width 84mm, with a spine of aprox 6mm in width, and the short side that comes after the spine is around 16mm, leaving aprox 67mm for the back side.

Not sure if I made myself understandable
