Hi!

Is there some good copy program for Oric? Something like Copy ][ Plus or Locksmith for Apple?

I have found 'Private Copy' by Micropuce to be invaluable to me, however I'm not familiar with the software you mentioned so don't know if this what you require.

Nibble springs to mind (look for the very last version updated by Fabrice), but the specialist for disk copies is André. IIRC he often talks about Nibble and BDDisk, but I can't tell you much more on BDDisk.
Both are for Sedoric disks I think.

I suspect many other people around here have excellent knowledge on this subject ;)

Hi Symoon!

Mmm, Nibble is a disc monitor only, and i think is very good indeed. BDDISK is good to copy from tape to disc, but is no good to copy from disc to disc.

For orientation, some images of Copy ][ Plus and Locksmith for Apple II.

Yes sorry haven't used Nibble for a while, I recalled it was one of the best to look inside a disk, but forgot if it had copy habilities.
I suggest you take a look at Sedoric 3 disk, or Sedoric Tools disk (tried to find where it could be downloaded, but failed at finding it... :-/ ), which certainly hold what was, around 1998 at least, the best for Sedoric.

There it is, André sent me a copy of the latest release of Sedoric 3 Tools, when we began working on Sedoric 4.
Apparently he's using COPFORM 2.2 to make disk copies. To find it, select menu "0", then "Cheramy2".

Sorry it's all in French!

Thanks, Symoon! Very useful. I found bunch of 3" disks and will use the tools to make backups.
Most of the disks contain well known programs, but I hope to find a 'buried treasure' too.

Thank you very much, Symoon, and for André too, of course! Strange form to input parameters :D , but it works fine and fast.

I don't understand what you're trying to do that can't be done with Sedoric?

I used BACKUP and COPY and have a twin disk system to make it easier. (Copying with a single disk drive is a pain. )

COPY A to B.
