Tapes transfers updates

In this forum you can write about anything that does not fit in other forums.
This includes generic Oric talkings and things that are totaly unrelated but want to share with people here :)

Tapes transfers updates

Post by Symoon »

Hi all,

I have updated my original tapes transfers list.

(new or updated entries are in blue).

I'll have a small break this month, then resume the work in september ;)

Hi Simon

You have done an excellent job cataloguing the Oric software.

I see that you have a few questions about Multigames 2 published by Tansoft

Tansoft were desperate for Oric1 software to compete with the Sinclair Spectrum and I was asked to write Multigames 2 within 3 month.

Before I had completed the coding I was asked to send them screen shots of Hangman; Substrike; Road Race and Moon Lander so that they could go ahead and design the tape cassette inlay.

They did not include a manual with the tape though I did include brief on screen instructions at the beginning of each game.

I did all the coding of Multigames 2 on an early prototype Oric1 so I never wrote a true Atmos version.

Maybe Tansoft used the “Atmos Compatible” sticker as they were keen to shift the old stock of tapes :)

Regards,

Frank

Hey, thanks for all the details Franck ;)
I'll correct that for the next version.
