iss, I hope you did not get me wrong... Seriously, I don't mind if anyone wants to distribute any of my programs (I am more than thankful for it!), just prefer if the docs are kept with the distribution whenever possible.

What can be done is to make a menu that allow you to download thoses DSK with some descriptions around, the best would be to get the list from a website too!

For information, there is an api available on oric.org : Oricutron could fetch software from this api.

I did not write documentation for this, but if someone wants to do it in oricutron, contact me :)

Awesome work! May I just raise my hand in support of adding *.dsk files by default in the distro, though? Maybe its just me, but I think its always nice when an emulator comes with something to run on it, right away .. especially for Mobile ..

Hi,

Anyone else having problems loading tapes?

Typed in CLOAD"" then selected a Tape via the menu but the Status line just shows 'Searching..'

Also tried it the other way round by selecting a tape first then typing CLOAD""

Cheers
Scott

@Yicker: yes, tap loading problem confirmed and noted. I plan new release after month (depending on my free time).

Thanks iss.

Look forward to the update.

Will this include full blue tooth keyboard support? Up and Down cursor using the volume buttons is a little bit awkward.

Also would it be possible to use the default Android file requester rather the SDL one?

Cheers

Re: Oricutron for android (POC)- sticky mode

the 'Sticky mode' made to use shift and crtl keys
doesn't work correctly (on my asus tablet),

i can't get for example the @ ,#,%,>,<," ,& ,..

it displays the 'pressed' and 'release' states of the shift or crtl keys,
(this first step seems to be allright),
but when i try the second step pressing an other key,
it doesn't work.

Thanks for your job

I made some rework on options screen to look more 'android-ish', but still not ready.
I need to find some free time to finish it.

Thanks for the update.

I know what it's like trying to find some free time to work on a personal development project.

Download all 3 parts and use 7z/Rar/WinRar to decompress the apk.

Total Commander for Android does not have that option :/

It's possible to be done entirely from Android, but the idea was to decompress on PC and then transfer ter APK to smartphone.

It is for Android. And the title of the toppic says "for Android".
Then -- stick to the Android?
No PC!

I do have Total Commander on my Android.
And -- no I (at least I don't know how) to do it - without the PC.

I am on my PC right now.
And I'm thinking: it kind defeats the purpose.. And it defeats the title, doesn't it?

On the other hand -- I now see that I already wanted to try this emulator earlier in time (!!!) and even THEN the download link didn't work (that time it didn't work for different reasons, but newer mind now).

Soo.. If it is for the Android...
Then be serious and put it on the Google Play!
For regular and simple download on the Android itself.

Until then I'll pass. :(

iss wrote: For all curious fans the apk can be downloaded here (It's ~6MB).

I would like to download it, if possible? :D
But, when I click on the URL on http://mail.dir.bg/~iss/oricutron-android.apk

it says:
Проблем, сървърът не успя да извлече търсената информация.
Невалиден адрес

I suppose it's removed or something...
Is there any other download link? :(
If it works...?

(Can't believe I had to use Google Translate from Russian just to figure-out back then that the download link then didn't worked!) :(
