I'd restart from the last saved point before taking the second can. Just in case.

If you can't, just continue. If doing something with the second spray hangs the game, reset the oric.

There's little else I can do now :(

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Quit the game for what? Get back to basic? No, there's no way to do that.

Not sure what'd be the use of that... what do you want to do?

You should get stuck from time to time. It must be a challenging experience, not an interactive movie ;)

If you want help. Just ask in a pm :)

Ok, I'm stuck too.
I found the disk, I got the emulator installed on the computer.
But each time I want to run the disk, I keep falling asleep, and having to run at work when I wake up.

Do you think I should start again from the point I was on holidays, and no travel so I can play?

Yesterday when i launched the game, it freezed when i click C for continue, i supposed i corrupted the saving by a bad stop of Oricutron

i needed to restart from the beginning, forunately it works this time

That should not happen, unless you quit *while* saving. Whenever you find something like that, send me a snapshot, so I can see if it is a bug and solve it!

I never had any saving corruption when playing in Oricutron or with a real floppy. The only saving problems were with Cumulus, and we solved that.

Strange...

Get a coffee and wait to be really stuck *in* the game :)

Then ask for help... I am more than willing to give clues, hints or even what to do if you ask me :)

For people who encounter fatal crashes or freezes when playing with Oricutron, could you please use the Save Snapshot function in the menu and sent the SNA file to us?
It contains a complete memory snapshot of the game, including the DSK data, which could really help finding issues.

HEY! SPOILERS PEOPLE!

I'm still playing this game as honestly as I can! :)

Chema - thanks for the info re: the bug - I think I must have triggered this one a lot, because I have this kind of nervous "re-press the action key" thing I do while playing this, and I must have encountered the bug a hundred times, getting confused every time ..

Remember all I ask is a picture of your computer running the game :)
I'm at work and don't have my Oric with me here, but I do have Oricutron on the GPD Pocket so that I can get in 30 minutes of relaxing time during the day .. ;) So, here is BLAKES'7 on my desktop, for your pleasure:

Eyeglasses! :)

At the moment there is a bug with Oricutron on the GPD Pocket, because the GPD uses a rotated screen - its hard-wired to start up in Portrait mode, and then after the OS boots (UbuntuStudio Linux in my case) the screen is rotated into Landscape... this is fine, normal X and Wayland apps deal with it just fine, but SDL .. which Oricutron is using .. still thinks that the screen is Portrait, so if I do full-screen in Oricutron, the whole display is rotated. So for now I just use windowed mode, until I either a) fix SDL on GPD Pocket (someone else might do this), or b) add a script to the startup of Oricutron that puts the screen in the right orientation before doing fullscreen framebuffer SDL mode. Anyway .. ;)

Nice pics!

Steve, you're like me and prefer to use the Oric's aspect ratio

Do you all guys use emulation? Just curious...
