Re: Cumulus firmware rework task force

I'm interested in helping, but not at all interested in re-do'ing the GUI .. my principle focus will be on figuring out how to control the Cumulus from the Oric, which requires a bit of homework on my part .. the idea would be to add commands like: !LSDSK - returns a list of .dsk files found on disk...

Re: Cumulus Issues

I have two CumuluBus, they both work fine on two Atmos'. Haven't tried with Oric-1, its too delicate an operation, as the Oric-1 I have needs repairs first.

Re: Cumulus Firware Compilation

I really think it should be more of a priority to try to get Cumulus controllable from the Oric - this then renders the UI not as important, and we can move on to fixing the UI issues after this. I imagine having some sort of command like "!CUMULUS VOLS" to get a list of .DSK files availab...

Re: Cumulus Firware Compilation

I have it unpacked and set up but I haven't been able to upload a locally-built binary .. last I looked, I still had to find a way to do that. I'm quite happy to work with you on features, though .. the most important thing from my perspective is to figure out some way to be able to control Cumulus ...

Re: Merry Christmas oricians!

Cheers and seasons greetings to you all from my family here in Vienna, Austria, as well .. we are active Oric users in our household, and by "we" I mean me and the 7 and 4 year old - and you guys here in the Oric community are a real treat for us, as we explore these old machines and their...

Re: Geoff Phillips interview

Always great to read tales of the old days from someone who was there in the thick of it all .. would be great if he joined us here on the forum and revealed that he still has all his old Oric stuff tucked away somewhere, eh? :)

Re: Video output without SCART/RGB

This is one of the reasons why I try to collect the LCD TV's with SCART whenever I see them at the local dump .. alas, people do throw away perfectly useful LCD TV's these days as they upgrade to HDMI, so it seems there is always a new screen for us out there .. perhaps its similar to your circumsta...
