Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
I am now going to take a small break, because I just don't know what I'll do next :) Did you mean "I am going to make tie break", a tennis game ? Well I suppose there are plenty of ideas (or others suggestions), but enjoy the break. What an achievement watching back all the differen...

Re: FloppyBuilder evolution
Now I need to test in a real Jasmin drive, but I don't have one... Anyone willing to do the test for me? If he ever has time, I think Jede is your best luck (now is that denouncing a friend? ) Last time I plugged my Jasmin 2, it didn't work and ended up smoking... Since then it's shelved ...

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
Gave the 1.1 a try, so far so good (ok, just the intro and the 1st room, I'm in the corridor )
EDIT: episode 1 finished, all went fine! But of course, I played faster than the 1st time, and didn't try every action on every situation.

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
Finally reached the end! (with a little extra explanations ;) ) As a player, it may feel a bit short, but this feeling certainly comes from the fact that there is no boring /artificially complicated /demotivating moment, which is a very good thing. As an Orician, I am amazed by the incredible work o...

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
Finally, found some coffee and played at finding coffee  Finished Episode 1, I'm saving Episode 2 for another spare moment ! Very nice work indeed, the rooms and cut scenes really have a brilliant design. As well as the private jokes about (4K I guess) Kong and Chema's 1337... The service room ...

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
Ok, I'm stuck too.
I found the disk, I got the emulator installed on the computer.
But each time I want to run the disk, I keep falling asleep, and having to run at work when I wake up.
Do you think I should start again from the point I was on holidays, and no travel so I can play?

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
Downloaded the "beast" yesterday, and hoping to have a spare moment this evening to try it!
Thanks Chema, for keeping the Oric alive
Will make a picture when there's some progress!

Re: Development of Blake's 7 (was OASIS development)
Great news! No time at all for Oric these days but will try it ASAP. About Joystick - seems you guys are saying opposite things. That's the usual debate between "airplane" commands (pull = up) or "2D" commands (pull = down). Not sure how they're called actually, but hope you'll u...

Re: TapOric - android TAP player for Oric
All this is just great ;) About the output signal when CLOADing, I noticed it a while ago (contant "beeeeeeeep") but I'm not sure it happened all the time? Maybe I hadn't typed CLOAD"" every time I plugged the calbes. Never thought it could be useful some day ;) The program looks...

Re: Question regarding floppies
I do have double-sided 3" floppy drives, but if I ever play on my real Oric, I'll probably use 3.5" disks. I understand the (very interesting) question is about the existing hardware, but the results might have to be re-examined if you want to decide if it's worth doing a specific single-s...
