Re: re oric circuit from theoric #12
I think the point is to start a discussion on these articles? My impression is that those of us who understand these things have probably already seen these schematics, but on the other hand it can't hurt to have the URL's in a thread if there will be discussion .. That can be done with for example...

Regarding posting articles of magazines and questions.
We have something called The Oric Library, and it is located there: http://www.defence-force.org/computing/oric/library If you have magazines or books that are not present, or if you have them in downloadable form not yet present there, then contact me and I will put them as downloadable entries. If...

Re: re ampli-bus circuit theoric #28
Please, stop posting messages with copies of things already available: http://www.defence-force.org/computing/oric/library/lib_magazine/theoric/files/theoric-28.pdf Just link to the files and indicate which page the interesting part is, and do that on threads that are in context. I will delete the n...

Re: Tape Header Format
As written the number of $16 is variable because it's a synchronization pattern, technically you could have many of them, it just happens that 3 is the minimum that still gives readable data.
The rest is consistent.

I actually never used this view, not quite sure how it's supposed to behave or why it stopped working as you would expect.
Perhaps a bug in phpbb?
EDIT: Looks like I'm not the only one confused: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... 6&t=943995

Re: 24 of April. AtmoStrat was born
The computer is running only in 1 MHz. It's not faster than Atmos and Telestrat and is 100% compatible, just have extended optcodes and address modes. It is useful for that who loves to write in assembler language. I hope there will be interested to find some useful 65C816 cross-assembler. Ok. I'm ...

Regarding the 65816, is there a 1mhz compatibility mode and why not more than 64k?

Re: Next Cumulus batch
As long as it's easy to insert/remove and that the direction is obvious and the contact firm, I could not care less
What I hate is the push/pull type when it's made to be seamless with the case, so you need to push inside with your nails or another card to actually get it far enough so it pops out!

Re: Next Cumulus batch
By the way, for everyone, do you prefere a real SD socket or a microSD card is nice too? It may help getting the PCB a bit smaller, but that not something essential I guess it depends of the usage pattern, but when I was doing some development I was glad it was a large and easy to extract SDCard th...

Re: List of 1.0 and 1.1 ROM routines ?
There is a Spanish book about the Oric which contains such a list. Silicebit recovered it from a set of typed-in sheets. It is downloadable from the author's web site: Ramón Cererols . I will try to OCR the list and post it here. In fact I already tried, but with little success (horrible output). B...
