Re: New (corrected) version of tap2cd

Okay, another try. I got a version of tap2wav from august 2007 (I think with some modifications from Symoon?) and I recompiled it. It seems to work on my 64bit machine, so... tap2wav2.zip Anyway I mentioned the idea about mess, because it seems to produce a good wave from the tap file (so basically...

Re: Tap2Wav bug

Thanks for the quick reply Godzil. My computer is Medion all-in-one PC/TV and I think that may be the problem as I never had issues with my old desktop PC. Basically I am trying to restore some of my old games where the tape has degraded preventing the games from loading. The idea is to convert good...

Re: Tap2Wav bug

Hi Waskol, Is it possible for you to upload this file again? I am trying to convert several TAP files to WAV but very few of them will load when I connect my Oric to the PC. The games with loading screens show a few graphical errors and the majority simply don't run after the WAV file has ended. The...

Re: Cumulus Issues

Oh, the first thing my kids did was school me on the number of games in the Oric collection "that don't have enough pixels in them" .. ;) So its been a wild ride watching all these new hi-res games hit the scene, because every time you guys make a nice release with fancy non-text-line gra...

Re: Gamebase Oric V2.0

Thanks peacer :D

I discovered a 'slight' error in the Gamebase; I forgot to remove the 'game file is currently missing' from 'Lode Runner'. Please ignore this, the game is included and working

Gamebase Oric V2.0

V2.0 of my Gamebase has now been released and will likely be the final one, unless many missing or rare games suddenly become available. It has a game count of 1373 and includes many of the missing games from the last release. The Gamebase can currently be downloaded using the following RapidShare l...

Re: Gamebase Oric V1.00

Well I certainly saved the worst book until last. 'Meteoric Programming for the Oric-1' has listings so badly bugged that they render the entire book worthless. If I had bought this back in the 80's I would have insisted on a refund, it is appallingly bad.

Re: Gamebase Oric V1.00

Hi Peacer, I don't think it is possible for this to be done using the actual Gamebase software, it's just a basic front-end used to make loading the games easier. I'm not very technically minded when it comes to things like this, but what you described sounds like it would need to be implemented int...

Re: Gamebase Oric V1.00

I'm building up to the V2.0 release. The game count is currently 1364 and I am aiming for a release just before Christmas. I just have some games to type in from the 'Meteoric Programming for the Oric-1' book and a few odds and ends to add. Once done, the Gamebase will be pretty much as complete as ...

Re: Zorgon's Revenge Longplay (Youtube)

Here's my next Longplay, this time for 'The Ultra'. I had to use an Infinite Lives poke to complete this, despite being able to complete it without cheating when I was only 12 !! Despite cheating I don't think I did too badly, apart from on the last screen which was a disaster!! Here's the Yo...

Re: Oricutron 1.0

The Telestrat emulation's great! I'm currently having fun finding games for it to add to the Gamebase and have already found a different version of Lode Runner to the one listed on Oric.org. I'm also trying to complete a long-play of "The Ultra" now that the fire button is working correctl...

Re: Gamebase Oric V1.00

the next version of oricutron will have good pravetz disk emulation, so maybe there will be some pravetz software to add? I have added all the Pravetz games that are currently available from the site 'Hirudov.com' to my WIP V2. These are all in TAP format and were easily configured to load in Prave...
