Re: Eclipse and WUDSN IDE

I've now succeeded in using WUDSN. It's a very fat package. Only asm code is allowed, it's a big limitation for such a big tool. I think i'll continue to use Crimson Editor, and the OSDK package. It will be lighter and more powerful. May be the best "global" solution could be WUDSN with CC...

Re: Eclipse and WUDSN IDE

Hello, i've also (for Apple) installed this environment on my pc.
I've not tried it at the moment so it would be a good help for me if you send me a sample to test it.

Re: Tap2Exe?

Yes, it's the good forum information The idea of that program is to regenerate the drawn image with basic commands. Yes, it was the first idea of the author. I've discussed about it with him. I've tried to adapt his code with the HIDE objective. Maybe the Greg will realized it better and quicker tha...

Re: Tap2Exe?

Another biggest need is -as you know- pc based graphic editor which is wanted for a long time, even Twilighte's dream.. Think of HIDE for PC which is able to load PC graphic formats like GIF, PNG, JPG etc. and you edit this with mouse, optimise it with pictconv routines. Or a character generator wh...

Re: Oricium feedback and review thread

Hi, Oricium works fine with a cumulus.
I think it's easier now to plug a cumulus with an sd card full of dsk files.

Re: oric sur moniteur RVB ?

If there is interest I can post the "know-how" how to convert broken 7-inch DVD player for 3EUR into portable monitor with Composite, S-Video and RGB inputs. Yes, it's a good idea. If it's not too difficult, i'm interesting in it. It will allow me to go to the ceo visu with a smaller bag....

Re: List of games from 90's and 00's

Hi Simon,

You can also check ont oric gamebase which is accessible on 2014CD.
On the base, you've several softs demos, games, utils ... published after 2000.

I'll try to make the check between oric.org and oric gamebase.
And we'll have to add your last numerisations.

Re: Using Overlays with OSDK

Hello, thanks for your remarks. Yep, CC65 isn't totally adapted for oric and it's an hard point for this implementation. Here is the memory structure that the software could have : +---------------------------------+ : Pages 0....4 : Oric +---------------------------------+ : Main C program with his...

Re: Using Overlays with OSDK

Humm, i think there's confusion between overlay ram and overlaying pieces of code. 'CC65, the cross-compiler system for 6502/65816 computers, is very powerful. One of the most powerful features is the ld65 linker which allows you to create executables that are extremely flexible. One use case allowe...

Using Overlays with OSDK

Hi,

For an idea (quite big) i have, i need probably to use overlays and using different parts of the program at the same place.
It seems that CC65 has it : http://www.paytonbyrd.com/BlogEngine.We ... rlays.aspx

Is it possible to have overlays with OSDK ?
Thanks, Didier

Re: Unable to create a DSK file with OSDK

Thanks dbug, it works fine now. I've got my dsk file working with oricutron (i forgot to say that i've updated my osdk and using 1.2 version.) Now i'm discovering an artefact. In my dsk, i've my TEST.COM file, ok But i've also a ANCIENTFN.COM file ! I've put a file test with the ANCIENT.FNT file ins...
