Cool machine
Is that "engraved" characters, or like on the French keyboards I've seen, just some stickers glued over the keys?

Re: Re RANDOS v 1.0
I do have two documents in French, "randos.doc" and "randos2002.txt", not sure if it's what you are looking for?

Re: MIDI play for Oric.
I can contribute to any such project if there's something that I am capable of helping in it.. Maybe I don't have enough programming skills, but I have enthusiasm :) On this type of project, generally the difficulty is to device graphics representations that are possible to handle in code, and also...

Re: OSDK 1.5
Indeed the -o0 and -o1 descriptions are inverted. I guess I will invert the descriptions so the behavior does not change, which means that -o0 is the mode with the BASIC loader that switches to HIRES before loading the rest, while -o1 is the mode that simply has a tape header that loads directly to ...

Re: OSDK 1.5
@Dbug I think I recall that the option of generating a tap with the loader (-o0) and with the BASIC program that first switches to HIRES then loads (-o1) were swapped, but I'd need to double check. Ok, I can make it so it will be in the next version. No problem with using or not DskTool. I understa...

Re: OSDK 1.5
Can someone PLEASE create a gui for using pictconv? Or, is there a project to develop / upgrade the LIBPIPI project ? http://caca.zoy.org/wiki/libpipi/oric Anyone could make a gui for pictconv, I'm pretty sure there was some people who started some projects for that. It will not be me, because I wo...

Re: OSDK 1.5
Just tried and it works perfectly. At least it compiled Oricium with no issues. Thanks for the update Dbug!! One question: have you abandoned the DskTool? I see you are still using tap2dsk and I think it is not supporting the -i and -n options to set the INIST and Disk name. I am also quite sure I ...

Re: Phoenix Engine
There's been a misunderstanding on what the AIC feature does. The new AIC mode is not a magic converter that takes a random picture and transforms it into an Oric picture. It's a mode that take a PC picture which is already painted in AIC colors and ENCODES it in something that can be loaded on the ...

Re: OSDK's test suite
But what if we made some optimisation on the produced code? This check will fail in this case Yes indeed, but in this case it's an expected failure: When this happen you run the tester in generation code and then you update the SVN depot with the updated MD5 list matching the new version of the code.

Re: New version of Oricutron for Pandora in progress ..
There's no such thing as a "Steam release of Oricutron": If a Steam enabled Oricutron gets released, that will be a specific cut-down version made to run ONE specific game directly, without any access to the menus, floppy loading, etc... Generally speaking, every software you want to inclu...

Re: OSDK 1.5
One important detail: I used by default the palettes from Twilighte which are: - Even lines: Black Paper and Cyan Ink (inverted to White Paper and Red Ink) - Odd lines: Black Paper and Yellow Ink (Inverted to White Paper and Blue Ink) I will probably provide a way to specify custom colors, but I did...

OSDK 1.5
The version 1.5 of the OSDK is now available, with the following changes: - PictConv was updated to version 0.21, providing native support for AIC pictures and also support for alpha channel. What it means in practice is that you can draw pictures on a PC alternating the colors like you would do it ...

OSDK's test suite
To make the evolution and porting of the OSDK easier to manage, I started a "Test Suite" that will help track the regressions. http://miniserve.getmyip.com/svn/public/pc/tools/osdk/main/TestSuite/ The idea is simple: Run the suite with a particular version of the OSDK, running the tools on...
