Jaw-droppingly great progress! I can't wait to see what you'll do with it in terms of creative hi-res/hi-color modes .. man. Things like this make me wish Twilighte was still with us, I'm sure he'd be burning pixels like mad...

You know what is going to be awesome? Hearing all of those sound chips in sync.

EDIT: can you please do videos, sir, for those of us who haven't yet got the druthers to build the Exo- rig .. yet ..

Very nice gameplay! It seems like all thats necessary is a little tweaking with the chars and you'll have made a pretty good game!

Ha, nice update! Its getting there .. and yeah, Symoon said, "Chopper Attack" .. basically all the mechanics are there, now you've got make a level editor. ;)

Plus there's the fact that there are now 4 cases to be used in restoring other Orics. ;)

It is really painful to see these boards being modified, so I hope you guys know the pressure is on to make this project really awesome. Which it already is, just .. waiting with baited breath to know that those poor old Oric's have suffered lobotomies for good reason.. :)

As I understand it, this used a TELETEXT chip for the text layer, and had other layers that could be imposed somehow? Seems wonderful. I'm guessing we'll get a taste of this with OricExos..

Fun code to read - is the intent of TEMPO1..4 macro's to, at some point, allow the game to play at different tempos? For example, for the door opening sequence, which imho still needs to be much faster .. Another fun thing to tweak, which might be related to a TEMPO change, is the keyboard tempo at ...
