Re: A little sprite-demo (textmode)

That's probably it, made by Nox (author of O-Thrust).
Works fine on Euphoric!

- Symoon: Did you get to test the 128MB from Amazon?
Well I didn't need 10 µSD cards so I didn't order them ;)
I ordered another one (can't recall the size, 512MB or 1GB) and will let you know once I recieve it.

Re: Cumana disk interface problem

I can't speak for the Gotek, but HxC manual has detailed information on the jumper setting according to which type of computer you intend tu plug it (basically ST/Amiga or PC or Amstrad), and of course flat or twisted cable. Using a twisted cable for Oric apparently results in inverted logic, so ins...

What's your firmware? How are the DSK images converted to HFE?
I would add: do you have a system on your DSK file? (don't forget slave Sedoric disks can't be booted!).
I only used once my HxC, and I recall I had to set some jumpers 1st to have it configured as drive A.

MIST

I think we "MIST" the great news ;) http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=37919&sid=3ab0f3e15491e54b4b5aa05459472269 MIST is a FPGA based multi-machine emulator. Oric seems fairly new. Only drawback I see to those machines: they won't allow to plug all the real hardware. So if you just in...

Re: Atmos/Microdisk - ghost in the machine!?!?!?

About the low-level copy program - my CopyPlus can do it! It's unfinished because I wish to integrate formatting functionality too which was difficult to debug ... 'til 10 day ago when @christian (aka assinie) committed read/write track implementation for Oricutron(!) - it works well so I can finis...

Re: Atmos/Microdisk - ghost in the machine!?!?!?

I still have a PC with 3" disk drive attached but gave up trying to make a 3" disk of FT-DOS for someone a few years ago (after something like 15 tries, drive change, and so on). I do think it's time we save the remaining 3" disks (especially originals), and give up using 3" disks. Drives are failin...

Re: Erebus Batch November 2019

If I'm not mistaken (all from memory): - the microSD card has to be formatted in FAT16, so the maximum is 2GB - you must avoid SDHC and SDXC models, which have a different hardware to allow much bigger storage - the current Erebus version "only" accepts 512 entries on the root of the card - if you u...

Re: Erebus Batch November 2019

Ok, just tested the beast with an old 2GB Sandisk card. It works like a chram! :D 8) Of course I tried twisted things like a program using STORE/RECALL  (which failed, but Kenneth already explained that IIRC). The box is really nice, and the chips are not directly soldered on the card, so t...

Re: CEO-Mag Christmas gift: John Sinclair interview available

But one challenge to this is that the CEO isn't readily available in machine-readable form. Or, is it? Well it's PDF, so just as Dbug stated, I think (but haven't tried) that you could have some help from automatic translators. A few articles are re-publications of old magazines, and can be fully s...

Re: CEO-Mag Christmas gift: John Sinclair interview available

Well in the late 90s, it appeared that nobody had time to translate articles anymore (from French to English or English to French). So the CEO decided to publish the articles in their original language. If I'm not mistaken, at the same time, some people in UK managing the magazine stopped without wa...

CEO-Mag Christmas gift: John Sinclair interview available

Hi all, When I did John S. Sinclair interview a few months ago, the idea was to send it first to the Club Europe Oric (CEO) magazine, and later on to share it beyond the Club. The man being probably the best-selling Oric author, his interview deserved being shared with all Oric enthousiasts. Here we...
