Re: Meurtre à grande vitesse, why there is not a TAP file?

Mike is right! As usual ;) How do emulators (at least Euphoric) do to load a file on hard drive when you actually tell the Oric to load on TAPE ? Well, they check the ROM calls for tape reading and catch them to replace them by hard-drive TAP reading. But when a program (like MGV) uses its own tape ...

Re: Telestrat failure?

Well, I've tested all my cartidges. - Hyper-Basic: 3 OK, 2 failed (one being currently being revived by NightBird) - Tele-Ass: 1 OK - Stratoric: 1 OK - Telematic: 3 failed, 2 apparently OK but not sure they do anything: with or without it, I still see "ROM 32Ko" instead of "ROM 40Ko" as displayed in...

At a small scale, Xenon-1 did too: look at the meteors.
Or the lava in the spider level, in Zorgons Revenge.

Re: eBay game prices

Lots of rare tapes were sold recently on Ebay: Bombyx, Canada, Memoric, Star Wars, Ajerdrez, ...
Hoping it's in a safe home and we can transfer / scan them some day ;)

The name ends with _dsk It's not .dsk.
Or the full name here is: B7en-1_3_dsk.HFE and the extension .HFE is hidden by FlashFloppy firmware.
Oooooh wel spotted, thanks.
I should not check the forum when I'm waking up at 3am

Re: Gotek USB floppy emulator

Thanks for the explanations. What is missing so far is direct support of Oric DSK format, but as I said this will be changed soon. :) Good news! See how lost I was, I thought that Zaxon's Cumana+Gotek drive was directly dealing with DSK files. Totally confused once again with what can handle what: ...

To clarify, has Krystal Worlds (1) been transferred to .tap yet? Would love to see it again.
It sure was, remember! ;)

I won't give you an Oscar for the fake reading at the beginning    , but the overall video quality has really much improved! Good sound, great pictures, ... The result of the work is visible and that's cool ;) Haven't watched it all yet, but one thing: J-C Talar wasn't Mr ...

Re: eBay game prices

I'm not sure those games are actually selling much. Some have been there for a long time.

At such prices I have stopped buying games to transfer them. Too bad if some are lost, but I'm not feeding inflation - nor paying to get some more work  .

Re: Telestrat failure?

Thanks to Thierry that checked that my Telestrat boards and power supplies were OK, and René that lended me a working cartirdge, I've been able to boot a Telestrat ;) It appears that I tested with two cartridges: HYPER-BASIC (left) and TELEMATIC (right). But if only one of the two cartridges are fri...
